We continually reaffirm our commitment to gender equality and our effort to promote the inclusion of more women in the energy sector.
We carried out the first edition of the dialogues series, "Agenda for the energy sector and gender", where we brought together NGOs focused on promoting women in the sector. AES people, public officials, and the media gathered to share experiences and open a dialogue on the actions that can be carried out.
Impact:
We addressed various recommendations to promote women in the energy sector, thanks to the participation of 10 media representatives, 3 civil society organizations, 2 energy officials and AES women. Following the event, we joined the Inclusive Institution association to carry out an analysis and implement a training and work plan to continue promoting inclusion at AES México.
