AES México e IASE lanzan convocatoria para Beca Mujer AES 2022

  • The goal is to continue promoting the development of women as part of the fight for gender equality in this sector.

 

Mexico City  – AES Mexico invites you to participate in the second edition of its AES Woman Scholarship, now fulfilling its commitment to sustainability, in collaboration with IASE (International Association for Sustainable Economy).

This program is unique in the energy sector and aims to facilitate the academic development of professional women and higher education students with a focus on energy. Participants will receive International ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Certification and the internationally recognized ISB (International Business Sustainability) Level I Advisor certification. This 100% online program will equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the energy sector and contribute to the sustainable transformation.

In this call for applications, 10 winners will be selected who will receive the following benefit:

  • Full scholarship for the training course and payment of the exam fee to obtain the ISB Level I Advisor Certification in ESG from IASE.

The requirements to apply for the AES Women's Scholarship are:

  • Being Mexican or a foreigner legally residing in the country.
  • Valid official identification.
  • Have a high school diploma.
  • Being a professional woman in the energy sector or a female student at a professional level in related fields.
  • Lack of criminal records for intentional crimes, not having been expelled from a professional association and not having been given a final sanction for a serious offense by an authority.
  • Statement of purpose letter in PDF format (maximum two pages)
  • CV in Spanish in PDF format (Maximum two pages)
  • Video presentation (Maximum 3 minutes, attach YouTube or Vimeo link)
    • It must include a presentation of the applicant and answer the question: What is the importance of applying ESG criteria within the business sector?
    • The video title should be First Name(s)+Last Name+Mother's Last Name +AES-IASE Woman Scholarship

It is important to note that only videos uploaded to the aforementioned platforms will be accepted, and if the video cannot be accessed, the applicant will be automatically disqualified.

Important Dates

  • The application deadline is June 30, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (CDMX)
  • The results will be published on July 5, 2022
  • Those selected must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship via email no later than July 7, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (CDMX)
  • The course starts on July 11, 2022
  • The Certification Exam date is to be chosen between September 8th or 9th, 2022
